I work with photography and text. I am part of a generation that inherited photography as its most common medium of expression. I seek to explore its possibilities, going back to its basics and experiment in the darkroom with analog photography. I am interested in the connection between written and visual language as a mirror to represent  emotional life. A mirror layered by a cultural gaze that is shattered by poetry. I want to expand the notion of photography as a conjunction between poetry and knowledge, that results in a final composition through the mix of media. Abstract images trigger what can’t be described in representational images. Photographs connect the gaze of the viewer and my gaze, and the text holds everything else together.
